Planning submitted for 98 new dwellings in highly sustainable settlement of Poringland

JULY 2019

PLANNING SUBMITTED: Working alongside a Strategic Land Promoter we have submitted to the Local Planning Authority a development scheme on a greenfield site for 98 new dwellings in the highly sustainable South Norfolk settlement of Poringland, close to, and within walking distance to a wide variety of shops, services and amenities.

The submitted scheme will not only aim to boost the Councils housing supply, of which 98 dwellings are proposed, the plan aims to allow the new scheme to blend with the relatively sparse existing housing development to the west, provides 36% affordable housing (3% above the Councils policy compliance requirement) and a small amount of live/work units. We believe that this scheme epitome of the meaning of “sustainable development” as laid down in the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF). We look forward to a successful result. development boostinghousingsupply planning land scheme affordablehousing
